eggs and antlers

This morning began earlier than the lazy usual, leaving time for some morning exercises and reading on the balcony before settling in to do some work over breakfast and a movie. Between last night and this morning I almost started and completed three Moleskine covers which is pretty much a record for me, despite being a relatively fast worker. I suppose not having painted for a couple of weeks, if not months (!!) has made the inspiration and ideas bubble up inside me until I could resist it no longer. Not that I have been avoiding painting - not at all! It is rather that I have had a lot on my mind and have been trying to make the most of the very limited time I have left with Björn and Europe, as I begin my trip home on saturday evening. Either way, I am very pleased with the artistic yield of the last 2 days and hope I have many more of them to come!

Hi there. Thanks for coming by my blog, and your nice comment. I love your drawings, especially this sailor! I'm a big fan of Julianna's work also. Cheers, Ben :)
