Merry Christmas :)

Instead of posting photos of snow-capped huts and reindeers, I have decided to share two pieces that inspired me today, and represent a part of what I am feeling this Christmas. I do not know the three young women in the first photograph, but I can absolutely relate to their feeling of elation and joy. I am having such a lovely time at home with my family, appreciating this time of togetherness and love. The second image is a card from an etsy store (which I will later find and credit!). Anyway, besides its gorgeous hues and folky illustrations I love it because it inspires me to do better and be better for those around me. So I suppose that will be my new years resolution. absence & the 'rare'

 

To any loyal reader it would appear that I have fallen off the face of the planet, never to be seen or heard from again. Yet the truth is nothing but the contrary - I have been so busy in the 'real' world that 'virtual' duties such as the blog and shop have taken a backseat. The Grad Show titled 'rare' happened, of which a few quiet shots can be seen above as snapped by me, in a rush on the last afternoon of its life. The last two Christmas markets have been had and rush Christmas orders and commissions completed. So for the first time in a long time I can be at peace for a few days and enjoy some free time in the Australian summer. Sweet.

Alas, the time has come for our last market of the year. I am excited, I know our stallholders are excited, and I hope the rest of Adelaide is too! Come along folks! This'll be good!

busy bee

It is only the second week of december, and already business is in the full swing of Christmas things! I spend most morning wrapping orders that come through etsy, as well as family, friends or commission clients. The other day I even got given a little elf hat, which only made me feel more like a little Santa helper.

Tomorrow will be the first of the three christmas markets I am participating in this season. It will be at 99A, Hindley street, Adelaide, from 11 til 4 pm. Hope to see you there!

Oh and I just wanted to give a little shout out to my beloved, with whom I today share our 4 year anniversary. I love you darling <3
