I´m really into quiet images these days, and I suppose I have always have been in a sense. However, of late I have found myself really finding comfort in serene images, those capturing the unnoticed moments like a teacup raised to a girl´s lips, or a cat crossing the road. Whenever I do come across such a photograph I get excited but also think to myself, "why dont people bother to take more pictures like this?" These are moments of magic, and people are missing it. And so I made a little promise to myself to document these precious, fleeting events and make the ordinary extraordinary.
Here are a few pieces from my travels around Hungary over the last month.
I arrived in Germany (again) yesterday, having flown in from Hungary after 4 weeks with family and friends and enjoyed 6 hours with my wonderful friend Karoline in Berlin, then took a 3 hour train to Kassel to my darling boyfriend. It is supernice to be back, and I haven´t felt this at home in a while. It feels great.

~arrange pile of crap/papers/tax forms/teacups/pens/THINGS on desk to make it usable
~put away clothes before they start growing at alarming rate like usual
~reply to some emails
~start commission #2 for September
~note down all due-dates and presentation dates for all 4 subjects in diary so i stay atop my mass of uni tasks
~work on photo presentation for friday

~keep reading my Susan Sontag
~get ready and go to work
~enjoy the sunshine
~maybe take some photos
But so far I only managed to reply to a few emails, have breakfast and cup of tea and spend an hour blogging/facebooking etc. Hmm. Right.
Oh also, (my) Eurotrip is starting to come together. I am now 'booked out' until the end of March, after which I'd like to spend maybe a month doing not much in Kassel with my amazing lovely boyfriend who will (unfortunately), more likely be working lots of studying lots.. either way I can succumb to my domestic womanly instincts and cook and "nest" as my friend Kelly says. Yep, nesting is fun. It will be nice to just be like a normal couple, and do the mundane daily things together, SEE EACH OTHER EVERY DAY (oh my god) and just be. Just be. Yes. That is the dream.
Alright, enough dreaming for now, its time for another cup of tea, maybe some attempt at yoga and then some cleaning. Bye for now.

Every time I think up a new little project, roadtrip, patisserie, monument, piece of land to visit during my impending eurotrip I get a feeling that's a little bit like a flutter in the vicinity of my heart.
The countries I am guaranteed to visit are Germany, Hungary, Holland, Spain and France and the "I wish" list includes ~
Denmark, UK, Portugal, Luxemburg, Scandinavia, Faroe Island, The Baltic countries (Namely Lithuania), Slovakia, Poland, Austria and Italy. Theres probably more, like more of Eastern Europe and maybe more north stuff aswell. How to choose? Limited funds make this trip a little more interesting as I am literally going to travel europe on a shoestring. but it will be amazing. I am taking my trusty polaroid Duke with me, with whom the furthest I've traveled so far was Sydney, and Glenelg :) So he is clearly hungry for more adventures, as am I.
